In this world today I don't find it easy to live as a christian. The bible tells me certain things about womanhood that seem so different from what other sources seem to tell me.

This message by Susan Hunt really helped me. Hopefully it'll be helpful to you too.

Enjoy and be blessed this Sunday!

Although I love all seasons, fall might be my favorite. These photos me and my husband made while walking in the woods. Don't you love those fall colors? Can you smell the scent of the forest in the fall? And see all those different mushrooms?

It reminded me of a song by Laura Story, Indescribable.  How indescribable is the Maker of all of this! Wow, that amazes me every time!
From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea
Creation's revealing Your majesty
From the colors of fall to the fragrance of spring
Every creature unique in the song that it sings
All exclaiming:

Indescribable, uncontainable
You placed the stars in the sky and You know them by name
You are amazing, God!

After a busy week I'm glad that it's finally weekend!!
This week I've been working a lot, catching up with friends, quilting at the bee, running errands, finishing two more chair cushions, doing a biblestudy and I bought myself a lovely magazine and some more fabric!

I've been telling myself that I have more than enough fabric, but at the quilt bee in September I fell in love with this cute brown with pink flowers. Last time I couldn't help myself and I bought it anyway! I chose a matching brown and some pom-pom ribbon to go with it. It would make a lovely pillow, don't you think?

The awesome biblestudy I did this week was about marriage. It is called 'Meet Me in the Laundry Room' and it is hosted by Aimee at HomeSpunThreads. If you would like to participate in this 40-day biblestudy challenge , you can check out her blog and start participating!

In my last post I showed you one of my new chair cushions. I finished two more this week!! Only three more to go!

One of those cushions worked out so well that I decided to submit it to Celebrate Color!

This week it occurred to me that in the things I do, I don't always trust God. There are so many situations when I don't know what to do and I tend to forget to ask for Gods help. He knows just what I need. My Lord Jesus Himself said that in Mat 6: 31-34.

Driving home from work, this song playing on the radio reminded me of His greatness and of the fact that whatever is going on in my life, God is so much bigger and can and wants to help me. That doesn't mean that everything will be all right, but He'll be with me and I can trust Him.
