Here are a few snapshots of what I've received from Australia and what I'm working on these days. At a workshop I learned how to make 'quilt stitches' with invisible thread with my sewing machine. I bought a spool of that thread right away. The rainbow fabrics are for the Modern Scrappy Bits Swap and the embroidery is for the Stitch me up blog hop. Both are going to be so much fun!

These two fabrics say bag to me. A buttercup bag, maybe...

I can't wait to start! But I have to keep telling myself that I have a few other things to finish up first.

After a busy week I'm glad that it's finally weekend!!
This week I've been working a lot, catching up with friends, quilting at the bee, running errands, finishing two more chair cushions, doing a biblestudy and I bought myself a lovely magazine and some more fabric!

I've been telling myself that I have more than enough fabric, but at the quilt bee in September I fell in love with this cute brown with pink flowers. Last time I couldn't help myself and I bought it anyway! I chose a matching brown and some pom-pom ribbon to go with it. It would make a lovely pillow, don't you think?

The awesome biblestudy I did this week was about marriage. It is called 'Meet Me in the Laundry Room' and it is hosted by Aimee at HomeSpunThreads. If you would like to participate in this 40-day biblestudy challenge , you can check out her blog and start participating!

In my last post I showed you one of my new chair cushions. I finished two more this week!! Only three more to go!

One of those cushions worked out so well that I decided to submit it to Celebrate Color!
