Yay, I'm participating the Sew mama sew giveaway! I'll be giving away this little quilted wall hanging. It measures 42 cm by 42 cm (16.5 inch).

To participate, all you have to do is to give me ideas for new quilts! Leave a comment before May 25. If you do, be sure to leave a link to a website with a lovely quilt pattern and leave your e-mail address.

On May 26 I'll pick a winner with Random.org and before the 31st I'll be more than happy to send it to any place in the world!

The winner is nr. 77 Suzanne:
That quilt would look awesome in DD's bedroom! Thanks for the chance to win!
What to quilt next? um How about a Chinese coin quilt? with a couple applique bugs for a summer picnic quilt?

Congratulations! Thanks to everyone who participated and gave me new ideas for the next quilt.

I'm working at two quilts at a time, but there aren't ready enough to be shown to the world.

While I quilt, my cat Mo is sleeping in my husbands quilt. His grandmother gave it to him. It's starting to fall apart, but he won't let me throw it away!!

A lot of my t-shirts and jerseys from high school and college are still in my closet. I don't wear them anymore, but I can't trow them away because of all the good memories. I have been thinking about a t-shirt quilt for a while, but I didn't know how to make one. I don't like the look of standard t-shirt quilts much.

A few days ago I was searching on Internet and I found this picture on this blog 'Seam sew easy' by Sara.

My inspiration was born!! I started to cut up those shirts, get some fabrics from my stash and I'm about to iron interfacing to the back of those pieces. I'm so eager to continue. You will hear more about this in a few days!

My first quilt!

I never thought that I would pull it off. A quilting course showed me the way and now I'm addicted! Here it is my first quilt, all finished and ready to be shown to the world.

I didn't know how much fun it was to choose and buy fabric and to see how it all turns out together in the end.

I started some other projects. More about that another time... I'll show one picture of my new project!
